Play, Language, Tone and More…

I was thinking about this week’s post and also thinking about how many things I need to get done!  Raise your hand if you can relate!  When I started this blogging journey I really had not a clue.  My initial thought was a monthly post.  But then I thought, if the blog was going to take off then the posts needed to be shared regulary.  My best friend keeps telling me she needs to catch up on my posts too.  That being said, I thought it would be fun to collect a couple of my topic posts from the past 7 months and put those posts into one just as I did for the 12 Days of Toys to Encourage Language. 

So, if you missed a week or are later to join me, feel free to take a gander at the topic posts listed below.  On a side note, I will be continuing with the toys and tips series but I am also welcoming what the New Year brings. I don’t know! But, isn’t that part of the excitement in life? Not knowing.

What I do know is that 2 lovely individuals asked me to write posts for their sites in early 2016.  It was scary as I had not done this before, but often times in life we are asked to do something outside of our comfort zone and we need to take a leap of faith.  Diane Bahr of Ages and Stages, LLC, and Lorna d’Entremont of KidCompanions.  Thank you for giving me an opportunity to do something different.  This blogging journey has been humbling and rewarding while allowing me to connect with so many people.  I am grateful for those people along my path in life who told me, “You can do this.”  (Guest post for Kidcompanions and guest post for Ages and Stages.)

Last year, on a trip with my high school friends, one of the gals said, “Tracy, you would be a great teacher.”  I laughed at her.  Then, I asked, “You really think so?”  And now, heading into the New Year I am hoping to add a speech therapist or two to my team to learn and and grow with.  What gifts have you been given, that you have not tapped into?  You just never know!
